How to get to Vézelay

By the road:

From Paris : Motorway A6 : Paris - Sens - Auxerre - exit Auxerre south or Nitry From Nitry take D 944 then D 32, then N6 and D 951

From Lyon : Motorway A6 : Lyon - Mâcon - Beaune- exit Avallon From Avallon take D 957


By train :
From Paris : TGV from Paris (Gare de Lyon station ) to Montbard (connection by bus to Avallon)

(connection to Vézelay only in july and august every day - and on friday evening and monday morning all year round)

or

Train from Paris (Gare de Lyon station or Bercy station) to Laroche-Migennes or Auxerre - then local train -stop at Sermizelles (10 km from Vézelay).

There is no public transport in Sermizelles (only taxi)
